Feng Shui House Hunt - What I see out and about: Transmission Towers

In the initial phases of our search we saw, what seemed to be, the most perfect home for us. Just on the edge of our search area, perfect number of bedrooms, wetrooms, 'out buildings' and within our budget.

However, I always look at the satellite view of properties before adding them to the go see list and when I checked this one out... well you can see in the photo - the property sits right under and next to a transmission pylon..

Occasional exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMF) will not affect most people but constant exposure over an extended period of time can cause issues.

You hear all the time people debunking the theory that EMFs will harm us but there has not be sufficient time to study and prove or disprove their effects one way or another. However, I always remind anyone that will listen, they did a similar thing with both cigarettes and asbesto:

"No long term heath issues from smoking/exposure" - and we all know how that turned out!

Whether or not you subscribe to the notion that EMFs are a health concern, it can't hurt to avoid, or at least minimise your exposure to them... what have you got to lose?

Needless to say, we did not inspect this house... next!!

Blessings to you all xx
